ABOUT
Waghorn’s projects have been showcased internationally through collaborations with Netflix, BFI, Sky Arts, VICE, NOWNESS, Opera North, and Sadler's Wells, with dance and performance work presented at Tate Modern, Serpentine Galleries, Royal Opera House, and Young Vic. She has recently worked choreographically on American Psycho at Almeida Theatre and the R&D development of Thelma & Louise at Young Vic.
Her dance films Abaddon and Edifice have collectively amassed over 12 million views, while her recent film Metamorphosis was selected for the Sadler's Wells Digital Stage Festival.Waghorn has collaborated with artists including Michaela Coel, Raff Law, Finn Cole, and Sadie Frost, alongside brands including Adidas and The Savoy.
In 2021, she was selected by Akram Khan Company for Artistic Development in choreography and was later nominated for the Women in Dance Leadership Award (2022).
